My very first Arduino project. A blinking yellow LED. How tantalizing :)

No school like old school
7 schools, 2 countries, 2 states, and 15 years later I’m 2 weeks away from the end of my 1st quarter back at OSU where I am working on rounding out the last 8 or so courses I have left to finish my (1) Bachleor’s Degree in Technical Education and Training. Maybe it should be a math degree… but then again, not sure this all really adds up :)

Letterhead Rare & Unique Fonts
For you designers out there:
I’ve got a thing for fonts. Always have. Especially vintage and retro typefaces. Maybe you got a thing for them too. If so, this is one of the coolest font sites in the history of, uh, font sites. They’ve got galleries with examples of the fonts used in various logos along with a typesetter for testing the fonts out. Great for inspiration. Check them...

The fact that I am not funny most of the time that I am trying to be is what is so funny about me. This is my secret. Some people see a goofball, others just laugh. If they could only comprehend the genius of my ways…brilliant!
Alas cable TV, we had a good run...
When I moved to my new place back in October, I decided to only get RoadRunner installed, sans any cable package. I’ve got things to do, books to read, stuff to learn and new businesses to start. But alas, cruel destiny had determined it was not to be so.
I received free basic cable for a year as part of a special deal for getting the amped up RoadRunner service. Yes, it’s only 30...

The Forgotten Value of White Noise
One of the great things [sarcasm] about living in an apartment is that you automatically become an inimate part of people’s lives. Let me rephrase that. You automatically become a part of people’s intimate lives… whether you choose to or not, depending on the quality of construction.

Been a Bear of a Learning Year
2009 has been quite the banner year for me for learning new “mad skills” to refresh my crusty programming repertoire.
Having been in and out of Web & interactive development over the past 13 years, I had let my skills stagnate up until late 2007 when I fully planted myself back into the interactive field after a little 3 year hiatus into real estate and an online venture....
Personal Hub
As I finally start the machinery in motion for some of the personal projects I’ve had on the back-burner for almost a year now, I needed to fire up a place to feed all my random thoughts and updates, both personal an professional, as things get rolling.
Making a choice on the tool or platform to use to channel my inner exhibitionist was a bear in and of itself. Quite a pain in the arse...
Grrreat meeting and catching up with Walker Evans of ColumbusUnderground.com. I do believe the embers of my entrepreneurial fire have been fanned. Just what I needed.
